I bought this game during the steam Christmas sales for pennies because it got decent reviews and looked like a Triad version of Mafia which I really enjoyed. The game looks great and the acting and plot thus far seems good, however I'm uninstalling the game now. The main focus of the game is fighting, constantly...I mean every pursuit has 2 or 3 fights in it. This would be all well and good if the controls were not terrible. I honestly believe this is a console game they paid some 12 year old to port over to PC after his homework was done. Nothing responds right or on time which in a fighting game as you can imagine is rough and super frustrating. Even pressing the button to skip the cut scene takes you mashing the keyboard 10 times just to skip ahead. Its a "are you serious!?" kind of feeling almost constantly as you character doesn't respond to directional controls well either. Leaving foot pursuits a battle like you captaining a ship, actually that would be easier. I can't tell you how many times my guy ends up facing the wrong way or running into walls or getting stuck jumping against a insurmountable obstacle. If you see this game used for consoles I'd honestly pick it up, as for PC? I want my pennies back!

I'm glad you posted this. Kept looking at it on Steam. What's funny is I feel the same way about Saints Row the Third. It was made for consoles to begin with but the controls are sloppy, laggy, and unresponsive. Who are these people that approve of this crap?

Yeah, I eyed it forever before I saw it on sale and jumped. Very disappointed, it got me back into GTA V, thinking about installing IV on the PC since I got that rockstar package but I dunno, I don't wanna ruin the old memories. Like if you go back and play 3 all the fond memories are replaced by..."Jesus this is terrible"

Hahahah yeah the sales at Good Old Games do that to me. I go back and think "I used to play this for hours?".
