Same for me. I have a comic book buddy that says it's good but the trailers just looked juvenile. Haven't started it. Probably won't.

We are back to watching Billions after a quick detour to catch Django Unchained.

Django is the only Tarantino movie I will watch. I can't stand his stuff otherwise.
Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy is on Netflix. We enjoyed last season so we're on this one.
We started Hanna on Prime but it's more boring teenage drama than it is cloak and dagger.
We finished season 4 of The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Was really good.
OH! If you guys want a good look into parts of my world in investigations I highly recommend Athlete A, about the US Olympic gymnast scandal, and The Epstein Files, both on Netflix. Watch the interview/interrogation videos on both of the suspects and see how many queues of deception you can pick out.

... and we actually watched about half of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood before abandoning and switching to Django...

I put Tarantino in the same category as Guy Ritchie, would never call them great directors, but their good stuff (Pulp Fiction, Snatch, etc) is highly entertaining nonsense.

Started watching Breaking Bad again, already saw it twice before, but such a good show.

Holy cats the El Camino follow-up was such a waste of time. That one blonde kid gained like 100 pounds since the show ended so casting him in the same role was a joke.

Oh two recent historical movies I've seen I think you guys will enjoy:
The Current War (2017) Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Shannon play Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse, respectively, in the race to be the primary supplier of electric power in the United States. Wonderful acting and a fascinating portrayal of the battle over DC vs AC technology and poor Nikola Tesla's (Nicholas Houte) genius being swept under the rug during the time. Listen for Max Richter's recomposition of Vivaldi's Four Seasons at the end. It made me tear up. I enjoyed this movie far more than I expected I would.
Radioactive (2019) A dumb title for a great movie. Rosamund Pike, whom I normally don't care for, did a fantastic performance as Marie Curie and her growth and life as a scientist. I started the movie only half-listening but was enthralled by the end.
Both movies are available on Amazon Prime.

How did you guys feel about Breaking Bad itself? I cannot stop watching it on Netflix, even though I already watched it in its entirety 2-3 times before. Such a great show, in my opinion.
Everyone is shown so realistically, you can root for and against the same person at the same time. So many interesting characters in their own way, Walt and Pinkman obviously, but also Skyler (total bitch mode but at the same time, you can totally see her perspective), Hank, Mike, Gus, Saul (expanded in the spin-off), etc. Even the minor characters are well done.

I loved Breaking Bad. We binged the entire series in a matter of weeks. Do NOT watch the sequel movie El Camino. It's useless and damages the ending of the series.

Odd. I thought the first 2-3 seasons were great, then the rest mediocre.

I only watched the last season of Breaking Bad. Like so many shows I missed it from the beginning and so never tried to catch up until I gave in and watched the last season. Really enjoyed it and eventually plan on watching the whole series someday.

Got a month of Disney+ so hitting all those pretty hard. So many cheesy live action movies from my childhood (Escape from Witch Mountain, Parent Trap, Flight of the Navigator). Watching Mandalorian now. So much better than the recent SW movies, although not awesome. Has some real pacing problems, I feel they could've taken their time a lot more.

I've been catching up on season 2 of The Boys. That show is f-ing insane! It's like Watchmen on acid.
I started watching Hunters which seems to be much in the main vein. A serious plot covered in gratuitous violence and dark humor.
